Guidance Office

Welcome to Beaver Local Middle School

Dear Friends and Families of Beaver Local,

 Hello and welcome to  BLMS.

I welcome and encourage you to utilize my services as school counselor.  My years of experience here at Beaver Local include kindergarten teacher, first-grade grade teacher, learning center instructor and currently, guidance counselor. I am also the MS Interact Club adviser.  I am married to an alumni member: Greg (class of '78) and we have raised three of our own:  Andrea ('08), Andrew ('11) and Alexandra ('16).

I have loved my many years of working with the students here at BL and welcome you to call upon me.  I am excited to spend some time in the classrooms working on study skills, anti-bullying programs, character development, career awareness, internet safety, etc. I want kids to learn about themselves, others, and how we can work together in society.

As counselor, I often work one-on-one with students to help with home and school-related issues that may come up.   I also work closely with parents and teachers regarding learning.  On occasion, I partner with outside agencies to help kids.  My goal is the same as yours...to help children succeed.

Please remember that I am here and am eager to help in any way that I can to make middle school a great learning hub for your son and/ or daughter.  I welcome phone calls (330) 386-8700 ext. 22409 or email:  anne.eisenhart@beaverlocal.org.

Thank you for your kind attention!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Anne Eisenhart

Students planning on taking college classes while in high school must attend an informational meeting each year.  Even if the student has already attended a CCP meeting in the past, the student and the parent must attend a mandatory informational meeting for the upcoming school year. The mandatory meeting is typically held at the EL Kent State University branch each fall.  Information regarding the meeting will be announced once we have a date for the meeting.  This announcement is made through a district all-call and during daily announcements at school.  Additional information can be viewed on the HS guidance page:  https://blhs.beaver.k12.oh.us/quick-links/guidance-office

Community Service

Eighth-grade students can begin collecting hours beginning the last nine weeks of their 8th-grade year through their senior year of High School.  Mrs. Farmer is the Community Service Advisor at Beaver Local High School and can be contacted through her email at lisa.farmer@beaverlocal.org.
